Accounting correction
correction ·
Earlier historical positions used the current model mapping, and the held-book calculation summed holding-period results without complete cash, exit-cost or daily risk accounting.
Missing European prices and absent CNY conversion also left gaps in the measured universe. This correction changes the measurement method and repairs the data; the recorded decisions remain intact.
What changed
Live targets now use the universe, mapping and sizing saved at each decision. Relevant map and sizing changes enter the held book too. Repeated unchanged targets do not trade or renew expiry. Positions execute at the first scheduled local close strictly after recording.
A daily cash book holds fixed units between decisions, charges actual traded notional including expiry exits and benchmark trades, and accrues financing and borrow costs. Daily net drawdown includes losses between decisions. FX uses completed prior observations, including when a local equity market is closed.
The new live model uses adjusted SOXX and SPY ETF proxies. The previous figures used the SOX and S&P 500 price indices. European missing observations were retrieved from the existing price provider, and CNY FX coverage was added. Missing required data continues to make a result unavailable.
Preserved results
Both versions end with the 18 Sep 2026 snapshot. The earlier publication was record 0922a98. This comparison includes both the method correction and the repaired data; it does not attribute the difference to one change alone.

The archive also runs the corrected method on the original data. Those inputs lack the new proxy and currency coverage, so affected results remain unavailable. Input hashes distinguish the original and repaired snapshots. The earlier timing archive is unchanged.
Assumptions and limits
Costs assume 10 basis points per trade, 5% annual debit financing after segregating short proceeds, and 3% annual short borrow, with no interest credit. They are fixed illustrative assumptions introduced in this correction, not observed broker charges. Gross exposure can exceed the reference capital, and borrow availability and actual auction fills are not established. Daily FX remains an approximation. These results are hypothetical and do not establish investment skill.
Historical replay keeps its legacy method. Repaired or newer prices can change its diagnostics; the prior published versions remain in the archives.
